Earlier this week, I was invited to attend the P&G Beauty People’s Choice Awards viewing party. What a crowd!! 30 of the top NYC beauty bloggers were all chatting it up and enjoying the view from the Penthouse suite of the Crosby Hotel. Of course I forgot to take a picture of the view. Grumble. Grumble. Grumble. I was too busy taking photos with friends and scoping out hot trends from the red carpet.

P&G Beauty invited Amy Nadine – Celebrity Makeup Artist and Founder of The Beauty Department – to break down each look that walked and talk about beauty trends that she thought would stick in 2014.

Turns out nude lips, glowing skin and metallic smudged eyes were HOT HOT HOT.

Celebrity hair stylist Kylee Heath was also on hand and noted that effortless blended hair was a major trend. Lucky for the group, P&G Beauty had a staff of stylists ready to work their magic on our locks. I was able to test out Herbal Essences NEW dry shampoo and fell in LOVE.

What a great event! And what great takeaways! I love how the nude lip comes back JUST when I start to wear red. LOL! Oh well 🙂
