Timo Wieland dazzled us this year with a plethora of eyelet and Ikat down the runway of their 2014 Spring-Summer collection. With a nod to Cape Cod and a quick getaway to Bali, the pieces were light, breezy and minimalistic excellence.
The show starts off with dresses, skirts, and jackets displaying clean lines and strong patterns. Navy blue and muted tan were the mainstay colors of the collection, with a sprinkling of bright red and stark white. The Ikat patterns were a pleasant surprise throughout the show, beautifully displayed on flowing dresses and skirts with a biased hemline.
The men’s pieces in the collection were just as breathtaking, including a deep blue varsity jacket and black seersucker blazer.
I enjoyed how classic the Timo Weiland collection was this year, with a bit of edge underneath the eyelet pieces throughout the show. It’s a classic contemporary collection and I can’t wait to see if off the runway and in the streets.
