Amorepacific At The New York Botanical Gardens

Just so you know, my idea of the perfect visit to the New York Botanical Gardens did not include rain….until I actually experienced it and realized it must be done at least once in one’s life.

I spent a dreamy evening with Amorepacific, a leading global skincare brand and the beautiful foliage at the Gardens. Amorepacific, a favorite of Martha Stewart, uses Asian botanicals combined with cutting-edge technology for products that change the way you view skincare. The purpose of the trip was to see firsthand some of the plants used in Amorepacific products. We were nestled away from the rain but were able to see it in all its beauty as it covered the Gardens in a soft mist. It was almost romantic and certainly incredibly memorable.

Amorepacific uses green tea, bamboo sap and Korean Red Ginseng.

They were the first skincare company to use green tea extract to benefit the skin. Instead of water, concentrated formulations of botanical ingredients are used. This means more benefits for your skin. These ingredients maintain their purity and potency from planting to purchase thanks to Amorepacific’s meticulous methods. Amorepacific also partners with world-renowned researchers like Dr. David Weitz’s Research Group at Harvard University to continue to evolve in their methods and products.

One of their releases that grabbed my attention is the Future Response Age Defense Creme SPF 30. I absolutely love that sunscreen is a part of this defense creme. This takes an extra step and product out of your daily routine, especially on days when the sun demands less of everythinh. This creme is formulated to address signs of aging while shielding the skin from environmental stressors. Green Tea and Pine Mushroom extracts are used in collaboration with 12 Asian botanicals to provide results that reduce skin’s sensitivity and increases skin absorbency to these powerful ingredients.

I had an absolutely wonderful time exploring the Gardens and learning about the different plants. Here are some shots from my trip.

Amorepacific is available at Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Amorepacific’s Beauty Gallery and Spa at 114 Spring Street in New York City. Click here to learn more about the brand.
