Daily Diary: A Pretty Spooky Night

I had a dream about a guy named Freddy and he had a hand that was filled with sharp knives…. Oh wait. We’ve all heard that one already, right? LOL!

No – let’s get serious.

Last night, my husband went out with a MILLION of his friends and stayed out until after midnight. I was obviously home alone with the kids and decided to rent a movie after they went to sleep. I opted for ‘The Apparition’. It was ok. There were some moments that were scary and I suppose the concept itself is a bit spooky, but nothing too exciting happened. I am a horror buff – so I don’t scare easily. But I was alone and in the dark while watching this movie – so maybe it got to me more than I’d like to admit.

At around 11:45, the movie ended and I went to sleep. Bill came home shortly after. I was asleep by the time he came in. I heard him, it woke me a bit but I was able to fall back asleep.

At 1:45 or so, I woke up to my dog crying. I turned the light on in a daze and saw her looking into the bathroom freaking out. Bill was already up but he went into the kids rooms. I didn’t understand why he would do that but I didn’t say anything because it was so late.

We both settled back down (I couldn’t and ended up surfing the web until 5AM – sigh) and then everyone else eventually woke up at 7.

The first thing Bill did was ask me about last night. He asked me if I heard a really loud shriek. I did not. He said the dog didn’t wake him. The dog crying and barking started after this huge shriek in the middle of the night. He ran into the kids’ rooms because he thought one of them was screaming but they were fast asleep. I heard NOTHING and I’m a pretty light sleeper. So, it could have been a dream. But then why did my dog react at the exact same time? STRANGE right?????

Could be nothing of course. Probably is nothing!! 🙂 But it’s something to think about.

  1. extreme coupon this , extreme coupon that. I do not mind stock piling, I do not mind clipping coupons but can anyone give a step by step info on how to do this? Everyone brags about, they all love doing it, TV shows will not quit about it, can some one step up and give us simple steps to get started and how to do it? Can anyone show how it’s done, can you just give maybe 5 steps, yes five steps to get started.
