Citizen Eco-Drive Watches Join Susan G. Komen In Support For The Cure

What could be better than sporting a fashionable new accessory that also supports an important cause such as breast cancer? Citizen Eco-Drive now has a women’s watch that exhibits the breast cancer awareness signature pink color in its face, giving off a delicate and dainty look, in a versatile watch perfect for any occasion. The watches feature sapphire glass, and a stainless steel bracelet with either a 20-diamond bezel or an 8-diamond dial markers. Also really cool: you never need a battery change because they’re powered by light. This is the ultimate woman-on-the-go watch. Perfect for casual or formal wear, it is a stylishly effortless look. Even better, in recognition of the importance for finding a cure, Citizen has donated a minimum of $100,000 to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation, partnering in the fight to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

I felt really great about trying out this watch provided to me by Citizen. It looks beautiful and complimentary with everything I tried it on with- my dressy outfit to a baby shower I recently attended, a suit I wore to an important meeting, and my skinny jeans I wear to run my daily errands. Being that it is water resistant, I was able to tackle dishes and showering with no problem. It also serves as a great reminder each month to do a self-check. What really sold me on this watch however was how proud I felt to wear it. Knowing that this watch supports such an incredibly important cause, just made me feel really good. It’s amazing to think how the color pink has become so symbolic of the unity among women everywhere to fight breast cancer. I have known many brave women who have overcome this fight thanks to the support and outreach of this cause. I’m always happy to have a beautiful new accessory, but it doesn’t always reflect something so significant that affects all of us. We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer in some way. For more information on how you can take part in the fight against breast cancer, visit www.komen.org. Want one of these watches to call your own? Kay Jewelers, Macy’s, Zappos, and retailers everywhere sell these fashionable pieces.
