Daily Diary: Free Time, A New iPad And Mass Consumption

It’s official. Both my children are in school which means I have at least 2.5 hours a day to myself. I don’t understand what that even means. No responsibility? This is… amazing!!

Liam loves school. I knew he would. He has Natalie’s old teacher which we adored. So, I’m a happy camper this year.

Thanks to everyone’s advice on my last post, I went to the Apple store and picked up one of these running bands. I got one for my phone so I can call a cab if I run too far and can’t get home. LOL

I always get a ton of screeners in the mail and yesterday I welcomed a HUGE surprise! ABC’s Revenge sent me a flipping iPad. I almost died! I’ve had iPad envy for YEARS and would have NEVER bought myself one. I played with it all night! I’m going to start carrying it around with me in my purse.

And because I am such a hoarder, I had to get another shelf for my CVS stuff. Oh my word! I don’t want to become one of those crazy people who have their kids sleeping on toilet paper… but it looks like that’s where I am going. I’m going back to Home Depot today to get some wood or something for each shelf. I will take a picture when it’s all done.

  1. O.M.G. Lucky girl! What a cool surprise! 🙂

So glad to hear about Liam’s teacher – it makes it SO much easier when they get a GOOD teacher! 🙂 Enjoy your daily free time!

    1. P.S. I think I would’ve been more excited about the Godiva than the iPad! ROFLMAO
