Fisher-Price Offers Sneak Peek To Bloggers During 2011 Toy Fair (VIDEO)

On Sunday, I attended the Fisher-Price Blogger Preview. If you haven’t’ heard, the NY Toy Fair is currently happening at the Javits Center. Anyone who is ANYONE in the toy industry is in NY trying to make connections and sell their line.

Fisher Price was kind enough to throw a little party at the Loews Hotel on 61st street for a select few. They even hired Gilbert Gottfried to tell some clean jokes for the group. Didn’t think it was possible… but he did and they were hilarious! 🙂

I made a little video montage of all the great bloggers who attended. You can also see all of the images for the upcoming Fisher-Price 2011 toy line. Check it out!

My absolute favorite toy of the day was the ‘Baby iCan Play Case’ which is due to release this July. It will retail for $14.99 and… not for nothing…but I’m excited about this for my 5 YEAR OLD! Forget about a 6 month old. This is PERFECT for kids who want to play with iPods and iPhones and for parents who don’t want to keep REPURCHASING them. I always am so afraid to let my little ones touch my tech toys and this case made me feel an overwhelming sense of relief.  LOVE IT!

I also wanted to point out that a lot of the Fisher Price toy line can GROW with your child. Both Liam AND Natalie can make use of the two play sets above. This makes me feel good about making the purchase. I know it’s not a short term item.

Are you a Fisher-Price fan? Have you bought from their line for your children in the past? What do you think about their 2011 additions?

  1. Great recap on the event Vera. Events like this make me wish I lived closer to New York, I would love to go to the toy fair one year, it’s just not in the budget. 😉 I love your pick, the iphone ring, that’s really cool for kids.
