Johannes Faktotum Spring 2011

Johannes Faktotum launched their Spring 2011 collection with an interactive exhibit. Johannes Faktotum is a menswear line designed by Johanna Bloomfield, an American designer who has worked in Paris and Berlin. Johannes Faktotum means jack of all trades. The line is driven by the silhouette of strength in a man’s form.

The Spring 2011 collection was very geometric in nature. Sharp seams and bold panels incorporated color blocking in dusky shades of gray and black, with shots of blue. The collection was inspired by the nautical, slightly sunburnt man’s man, who isn’t afraid to get a bit of color, in his quest for the perfect sail. The makeup was done by Sarah Glick and resulted in a bronzed, mature look. Sarah talks about the look, along with the main Decleor products used under the makeup, in the video below.

The collection incorporated wearable shorts and light sweaters, paired with high top Jordans and sandals. Windbreakers were done in sleeveless styles with reflective lines.
