Sephora and tokidoki feted their recent collaboration at a slamming party complete with skater girls and characters from the tokidoki universe. Guests snacked on cotton candy, french fries and mini-burgers, while trying out with tokidoki themed eyeshadow, lip gloss, bronzer and other fun products. tokidoki creator, Simone Legno, talked briefly about his collaboration with Sephora, his favorite character and the product he most likes multi-tasking with. Erected in the middle of the room was a skating ramp and three girls skated around while characters from tokidoki danced to the music.

tokidoki was created by Simone Legno and grew from his love of Japanimation cartoon and comics. He immersed himself in this culture even though he grew up in Italy. Though the tokidoki universe is the theme of the line with Sephora, the focus was also on high quality, highly pigmented, colors to be applied with professional tools. This brand is sure to attract cartoon and makeup fanatics alike.
They’re also very reasonably priced, considering the artistic packaging and designs that come with each of items. For example, the eyeshadow cost $15 and the makeup bags start at $20. The tokidoki line is available exclusively from Sephora and will be hitting stores in May.
