Robert Verdi’s The Future Of Fashion

IMG_0191

Robert Verdi provided a welcome relief for writers, editors and other Fashion Week attendees with an exclusive Fashion Week Retreat, The Future of Fashion. I stopped by between shows to relax. Makeup artists from Jouer Cosmetics were on hand to give touch ups.

The unique thing about Jouer Cosmetics is how portable the products are. They’re all made with a sliding side so you can pair your favorite eye shadow with your must-have powder and toss it in your purse. Because it’s attached together, you don’t have to go digging in your bag when you’re ready to touch up your makeup. Jouer has been featured in InTouch, People, Town & Country and Elle, to name a few. To find out more about Jouer, go to www.jouercosmetics.com.

Manicures were also provided by Ginger+Liz. Rock and Republic Jeans were on display, with the latest from their line. Stylists from PHYTO were also helping us look our best with blow-outs, which I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try. I did, however, sample Absolut’s new Berry Acai cocktails, while I relaxed. With real berries, I didn’t feel too bad about having a drink since there’s healthy Acai in these.

The lounge was incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating, providing a much needed break for all who stopped by. Thanks, Robert Verdi!
